Pawlkies General Terms and Conditions

 

 

All clients will be deemed to have accepted Pawlkies Pet Care terms and conditions (as laid out here) following submition of the online enrollment form.

 

Pawlkies Pet Care will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out with the client, and the client requirements and pet registration details have been completed.

 

Full payment for services (agreed either at time of booking or subsequently) is to be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice or, by the date specified on the invoice via cash, cheque or bank transfer. If payment is not made within this time 2.5% of the total bill will be added for each day that payment is overdue.

 

The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client's absence. (i.e., food, medication, leads, tags, collars, cat litter etc). Should pets require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Pawlkies Pet Care, these will be purchased and added to the bill.

 

The client must provide Pawlkies Pet Care with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Pawlkies Pet Care reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.

 

The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Pawlkies Pet Care unless Pawlkies Pet Care has been negligent in the care of your pet.

 

All dogs must be current on all recommended vaccinations and inncoulations, including worming and flea treatments.

 

Although Pawlkies Pet Care holds Public Liability insurance, wherever possible pets should be insured by the client. Pawlkies Pet Care reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.

 

Whilst Pawlkies Pet Care look after all out clients pets like they are our own and every care is taken of your pet(s) during there stay, we accept no responsibility for any loss, accident, illness or death that occurs to any animal whilst in our care.

 

We must have at all times accurate details of the owner to include, name, address and contact telephone number.

 

Pawlkies Pet Care reserve the right to revise our prices when necessary.

 

 

Pawlkies Home Boarding Terms and Conditions

 

Safety is of upmost importance to both your pet and our staff. It is therefore a requirement that your dog shows no form of aggression towards adults, children and other dogs.

 

Owners must undertake to make full disclosure of any characteristic which may make your dog unsuitable for Day Care. This will include behavioural / health problems, anti social or aggressive behaviour, lack of house training, or excessive barking. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render the owner’s dog unsuitable for Day Care will be deemed a material omission to a fundamental breach of our agreement.

 

In order for our staff to offer the best possible care for pets, we kindly ask that you adhere to our opening times as stated, for arrivals and departures unless pereviously agreed. Please note that no other times are not acceptable as this causes stress to other boarders and disturbs the daily routines. Thanks for your co-operation.

 

As part of the licensing conditions and for the safety of all boarders and Day Care canine visitors, all Dogs for boarding must be fully inoculated and an up to date vaccination book must be presented when bringing your animal in. We will return the Vaccination book when you collect your pet(s). We are unable to board any dog without a valid vaccination book and subsequent inoculations up to date.

 

Canine Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough)


We strongly recommend that you have your dog inoculated against canine infectious bronchitis. We suggest you discuss this matter with your veterinary surgeon as this is caused by complex virus/bacteria only some of which respond to the vaccination. If you decide to have this inoculation, it must be done at least three weeks prior to arriving at Pawlkies Pet Care.

 

Owners must ensure their dogs are up to date with flea and worming treatments.

 

Neutered dogs and Spayed bitches only. (Over 7 months) unless otherwise agreed by Pawlkies Pet Care.

 

You must make us aware if your dog if it has had symptoms of vomiting or diarrhoea in the past 24 hours. We would not like to spread any type of illness to the other dogs and may need to quarantine your dog until symptoms have passed.

 

Please ensure any medication or own food is clearly marked with the pet’s name, your surname and full instructions of dosage.

 

During your dogs stay with Pawlkies, it will be boarding and come into contact with our Day Care dogs. The inherent risk of free dog play is a puncture that may or may not require stitches, a nick on the ear that may bleed, scrapes and scratches. All of these can occur from normal dog play. Remember dogs play with teeth and claws which is normal for all dog play. Any such situation arising will be dealt with by trained handlers. However, we stress that all dogs attending Pawlkies Day Care Centre will be at the owner’s own risk.

 

Pawlkies Pet Care will charge boarding 24 hours from the time of drop off, if collection is after this time on the day of collection, Pawlkies Pet care will charge our day care rates for the remaining duration of your dogs stay.

 

We will undertake to keep your pet(s) for up to 1 week after the expiry date of your booking, after which we reserve the right to find a new home for your pet(s).

 

We cannot guarantee being able to change dates once a booking has been made, however, we will endeavour to meet your requirements at all times.

If your dogs requires a midday feed, or requires medication, please ensure any medication or own food is clearly marked with the pet’s name, your surname and full instructions of dosage.please ensure all food is provided. All dogs will be fed separately and away from other dogs.

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure timely collection of their dog within the normal operating hours. If you wish to collect your dog after these hours, we will charge £5 covering your dog until 9pm.

Cancellations

If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of a scheduled walking, pet sitting or daycare appointment, the full service charge will be applied and invoiced accordingly.

For cancellations of any boarding appointments, if a cancellation is made within 7 days of the booking, a 50% service charge will be applied and if this cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booking, the full service charge will be applied and invoiced accordingly.

For long term care contract cancellations, a minimum of two weeks notice will be required, to ensure Pawlkies can manage their staff utilisation effectively. If this cancellation is made with immediate effect, a two week service charge will be applied to the final invoice.
